After decades of leadership roles in global technology and healthcare organizations, Jeet and Shweta Shangari embarked on a deeply personal mission, opening their BrightStar Care location in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, in June 2025. With a service area covering Acton, Andover, North Andover, Tewksbury, Lowell, Chelmsford, Billerica, Westford, Dracut, and surrounding communities, their new location provides compassionate care and dependable support to local families.

Professional Expertise, Personal Mission

Jeet spent over 20 years in the tech industry, leading global teams at Amazon, IBM, and Oracle. With a Master’s from Boston University, he has extensive experience scaling high-impact systems and operations. Despite his technology background, Jeet always felt called toward meaningful, service-oriented work.

“As Head of Operations and Branch Manager at our BrightStar Care location, I’ve transitioned into healthcare to make a real difference, especially for seniors and families in our local community,” said Jeet. “I’m proud to lead a team of dedicated RNs, LPNs, CNAs, PTs, and caregivers committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Our goal is to deliver the best quality care possible to everyone we serve, this has already started to show in our 5-star reviews on Google. We constantly monitor client’s and employee’s Net Promoter Score to ensure we can retain both for long term success of the business.”

Shweta has over 18 years of experience in healthcare, IT, biotech, pharmaceuticals, HR, sales, and digital marketing. She holds a Master’s degree in Life Sciences and has completed several IT and technology-related training and certifications. She started her career working in hospitals and labs, where she saw the real struggles families face. With her background in both healthcare and technology, Shweta understands how to bring the two together to help improve care and support.

“After my own difficult experience recovering from major surgery without nearby family support, I realized how critical dependable home care truly is,” Shweta explained. “That was the spark that inspired us to create something meaningful in healthcare.” At BrightStar Care, Shweta leads marketing, client relationships, and recruitment—focusing on hiring the right people, from RNs and LPNs to CNAs, caregivers, and office staff. She is committed to building a compassionate and reliable team.
