Divya Bhagat is a new BrightStar Care franchisee who shares this commitment to make a difference in her community. Her path to franchise ownership is a journey woven from diverse experiences, rooted in a deep-seated passion for compassionate care.
Embarking on Entrepreneurship
Divya started working at a large hospital in North Carolina in college, as an intern which progressed into a role in hospital administration. Her department focused on patient satisfaction and providing leadership training to keep care patient-centric. However, she yearned for more profound connections and impactful avenues, which inspired her to embark on a quest for a more meaningful career with a larger role.
"When I worked in healthcare, I found that building relationships with patients was essential to me," she states. Divya then worked in real estate successfully for 7 years and even now still continues to dabble in it, however, real estate became turbulent during the pandemic, and she had always missed the feeling of working in healthcare. This led her to start searching for business ownership roles in the hospital and healthcare industries.
During her search, Divya sought the best, most reputable healthcare franchise that aimed for the highest standard.
